The evening will kick off with a champagne reception and appetizers, followed by a seated dinner and live entertainment.

Kids will have the opportunity to take photos in the onsite photo booth and meet the 501st Midwest Garrison Star Wars Characters.  Kids will also have the chance to decorate special t-shirts for Build-A-Bears which will them be donated to the Oncology floor of Lurie Children’s Hospital to be given to kids during their cancer treatment.

The live and silent auctions will all benefit pediatric brain cancer research, which is near and dear to the Lacewell family.  Six year old Max Lacewell, of Naperville, lost this battle July 4, 2009, after a heroic nine-month battle with cancer.

The Gala will have special appearances by Max’s very own Dr. Stew Goldman and Honorable Secretary of State Jesse White and The Jesse White Tumblers.

The evening will end with the presenting of a check to Lurie Children’s Hospital, and dancing! This event is perfect for families and will prove to be one of the best events your kids will attend all year!

In the previous two years, The Best Day Evuh Gala has raised over $190,000. The Foundation is hopeful to raise well over $100,000 this year. The evening promises to be a great time for a great cause.
