Halloween Events This Weekend: Pet Parade, Costume Contest, & More!

There are a bunch of Halloween-related events going on this weekend in Naperville and we’ve highlighted 4 of them here.

Costume Contest Spooktacular!

  • Saturday, October 26
  • 9:30pm to 2am
  • At the Wise Boxer Pour House:  16 W. Jefferson Ave – Naperville
  • $10 entry fee benefiting the Naperville Jaycees

Come by the Wise Boxer Pour House in Naperville for a Halloween party and costume contest!  There are prizes for the sexiest, scariest, most original, funniest, and best couple costumes.  Prizes are awarded to each category plus another for best-in-show.

The party starts at 9:30 and judging ends at 11:30.

Amazing Halloween Race

  • Saturday, October 26
  • 1pm
  • Takes place throughout Naperville
  • $30/person or $150 for a 5-person team

This is a scavenger hunt type event with a team of 5 looking for clues throughout Naperville.  Each clue you receive will give you the location to the next clue as well as information on a “challenge” that your team must complete.  Prizes are awarded to the first 3 teams to finish.  Entry fee includes a shirt, race materials, awards, and food and drink at the after-party.

pet costumeTrick or Treat Pet Parade

  • Thursday, October 24
  • 5:30pm & 6:15pm
  • Two Bostons Pet Boutique (downtown):  103 W. Jefferson St. · Naperville, IL 60540

If your pet likes to trick or treat as much as you, visit Two Bostons’ downtown location this Thursday for a pet parade and trick or treat event.  You’ll walk throughout downtown Naperville with your pet (please make sure your four-legged friend is on a leash).  Two times are available at either 5:30 or  6:15pm.

Yes, you and your furry friend should be dressing up!

Halloween Party for Pets

  • 6:30pm to 8pm
  • Two Bostons Pet Boutique (75th St. Store):  2523 W. 75th St · Naperville, IL 60540

Celebrate Halloween with your dog in style!  And, in addition to being a fun social gathering for you and your pooch, this is also a benefit for the Naperville Area Humane Society.  It is appreciated if you want to bring some dog/puppy food, cat/kitten food, cat litter, and/or dog & cat treats to donate.  Each item donated will get you a raffle ticket to enter to win some great prizes!
