You don’t have to be Irish to participate in the St. Paddy’s Day 5K! Hosted by the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise, in cooperation with West Suburban Irish, the St. Paddy’s Day 5K will be on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
Participation in this event is a great way to join into the St. Patrick’s Day holiday spirit. Proceeds from the event will provide health related services to those in need.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room in Edward Hospital will host its second annual fundraising event, “Uncork Your Support” Wine Tasting, at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, March 6, at Cress Creek Country Club in Naperville.

NCTV17 will present their newest documentary “We Are Rivals” on January 17 at North Central College’s Wentz Concert Hall. The fill will share the stories of the football rivals between Neuqua Valley and Waubonsie Valley, and Naperville Central and Naperville North high schools.
Chocolate and fun for all ages!
The 11th Annual Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Neuqua Valley Freshman Campus.
Hosted by 360 Youth Services, guests can enjoy free chocolate samples, see live cooking demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment and participate in family fun activities.
Also a huge attraction each year at the Chocolate Festival is the Sweet Treats Baking Competition. Entrants of all ages enter their baked goods while local judges pick the winners. Then the Chocolate Festival guests get to taste all the entries! [Read more…]
