Five guys who use only their voices to create the sound of an entire band. Performing since 2005, The Cat’s Pajamas Vocal Band started on cruise ships and now perform over 200 shows a year in Branson, Missouri and all over the country.
The Naperville Men’s Glee Club has been around since about 1988. In that time, they’ve made an effort to:
- entertain and inspire
- help kids appreciate and understand music
- support the Naperville community
- provide a fellowship for men of various ages

The Naperville Carillon has two major recital schedules; the Tuesday night summer recitals and the Saturday/Sunday afternoon and evening performances. The location is at 210 Aurora Rd. in Naperville.
Each Tuesday from June through August, the Naperville Carillon puts on performances from guest Carilloneurs from literally all over the world. Performances are always at 7pm. Feel free to bring a blanket or some chairs.

Moser Tower and Millennium Carillon in Naperville is now open. And it’s a really amazing structure.
If you’re not sure what the Millennium Carillon is, here’s an overview.
The project was started back in 1998. It was nothing more than a few people who got together and wanted to give back to the Naperville community – they are the “Friends of Naperville.”
Word spread of this interesting project and soon more people got involved and more money was donated. The wheels were in motion.
More than a decade after the idea was spawned, the first concert took place on June 29, 2000.

I have to say I’m excited for this for two reasons. First, I’m a fan. From the original Guns ‘N Roses to the current lineup today, I like what he puts out. Second, I think it’s kinda ironic that he’ll be playing about a mile from the very first place I had ever heard of him. [Read more…]
